In-depth Guide to Infrastructure Development

The technology tree is clearly divided into two: strengthen troops and develop the city. Novice players can progress smoothly as long as they follow the instructions provided in the quests. However, more and more resources will be required to level up the technology tree in the later stages of the game. The player must make a choice when there are insufficient resources.

I. Strengthen troops:1. Enhance the troops' configuration: Drill Grounds, Front Barracks.
1) Drill Grounds: Allows higher-level city to deploy more troops, and it is capped at 5 troop units.

Don't rush to train too many troops early in the game, you should focus on training up two main troops.

2) Front Barracks: Makes the Front of this city deployable and increases the amount of total Front troops.
Don't rush to upgrade and deploy too many Front troops. Similar to Drill Grounds, focus to upgrade enough to work on your two main troops. A strong main troop can help you conquer higher-level lands instead of a number of weaker troops.

2. Increase troop strength: Recruitment Office, Reserve Barracks, Barracks.
1) Recruitment Office: Allows you to recruit soldiers, and shortens the recruitment time. It will activate a shorter recovery time for militia when you reach the level cap.

You do not need a lot of resources to upgrade the recruitment office at the beginning of the game. You can level-up the office according to the instructions and pace of the quests.

2) Reserve Barracks: Increases the cap on militia and reduces the recovery time, hence the reserve barracks has a large impact on the timely supply of additional soldiers when required.

The prerequisite is that the government hall must be at LV 6 before you can build the reserve barracks. This is an infrastructure more suited for development in the later stages of the game.

3) Barracks: Increases the cap on soldiers that can be led by the Gairo and has a major impact on troop strength.

The prerequisite is that the government hall must be at LV 7 before you can build the barracks, so this is another important infrastructure that you develop later in the game.

3. Level-up the troops' attributes:
Speed, steel, will and bravery camps will help to increase the speed, defense, spirit and attack attributes of the city troops respectively, and these will add 20 to the various attributes at the level caps. To progress steadily at the beginning of the game, just follow the instructions in the quests. As you level-up in the game, you can focus on specific advancement based on your own judgment.

4. Bonus for troop realm:
The Titan Temple, Nordic Temple, Celtic Temple and Olympian Temple will respectively turn on the bonuses for Titan, Nordic, Celtic and Olympic realms. The bonus effects will be more powerful when the levels are higher, adding 5% to the realms at the level caps. You can choose to focus on specific advancement based on your own troops and realm.

II. Develop the City

1. Increase tax revenue: House.

House: Provides tax revenue. Coins can be collected up to 3 times a day, and when necessary, you can forcibly collect gems as well.
At the beginning of the game, just follow the instructions in the quests to progress steadily. Subsequently, you can level-up based on your actual income needs.

2. Increase resources and income: Lumber mill, Iron mill, Mill and Quarry will increase your wood, iron, food and stone income. When you have reached the level caps, you will get an additional +5,200 in wood and iron income, and an additional +5,500 in food and stone income.
You need resources to upgrade the technology tree and recruit more soldiers, so you should place more emphasis on upgrading these few infrastructures in the early part of the game.

3. Storage and distribution of resources: Warehouse, Market.

1) Warehouse: Increases the cap on resources. You can maintain the resources and income received from basic and upgraded Lumber mill, Iron mill, Mill and Quarry at a certain level once you have advanced. At the level caps, the upper limit for resources is +800,000 and tax is +1,000.

2) Market: For trading in resources and to improve the exchange rate of goods. Transaction rate increases by +10% when the Market is built. The Market plays a significant role when you face a shortage in a particular resource.
You can only build the Market when you have abundant resources.

4. Strengthen the city's defense: Wall, Guardhouse, Watchtower, Statue of Blessings, Sand Table.
1) Wall: Increases the cap of the district's durability. You need more resources to upgrade the wall.
You can follow the instructions in the quests to upgrade steadily.

2) Guardhouse: Allows permanent guards to be deployed at the city walls. It can also level-up these guards and their numbers. At the level cap, the number of soldiers the Gairo can deploy as guards is 1,500.
Infrastructure that is more suited for later-stage development.

3) Watchtower: Increases the pre-warning time and makes it faster to discover attacking troops. At the level cap, you will receive an additional pre-warning time of +1,200 seconds.
You can follow the instructions in the quests to upgrade steadily.

4) Statue of Blessings: Decreases the damage received by the city’s standby army and defense army, and also the allied army. At the level cap, damage from attacks is reduced by -20%, while the attack of standby army and defense army around the city increases by +10.
Infrastructure for later-stage development.

5) Sand Table: Decreases the Spirit attack damage received by the city’s standby army and defense army, and also the allied army. At the level cap, damage from Spirit attacks is reduced by -20%, while the Spirit attack of standby army and defense army around the city increases by +10.
Infrastructure for later-stage development.

III. Overall impact: Government Hall, Chief God Statue, Stargazing Platform.

1. Government Hall: Provides tax revenue and increases the level cap of the city's durability and troop costs. Its main role is to fortify the main city and allow the city troops to be matched with a Gairo that has a high cost value. Starting from LV 3, you can expand once every time you advance a level. More resources are required to level-up, but as the government hall is very important to the overall development of the technology tree and other infrastructure, it is recommended that you adopt a steady approach to accumulate your resources.

2. Chief God Statue: Increases the troops' cost cap and adds one building expansion. The government hall and barracks must be at minimum of LV 8 and LV 10 respectively before you can build any chief god statue. For subsequent upgrades, you must fulfill the conditions for both the government hall and barracks.

3. Stargazing Platform: Increases the cap on Fame and adds one building expansion. The government hall, statue of Blessings and sand table must be at minimum of LV 8, LV 4 and LV 4 respectively before you can build any stargazing platform. For subsequent upgrades, you must fulfill all three conditions for the government hall, statue of Blessings and sand table.

Nice guide! I did not have the same order myself so I am happy to see it displayed like this. Only remark I have it why temples are so low? The draws might cost alot of coins but the temple bonus for a full realm team are amazing.
